Interior designer JEAN LOUIS DENIOT has been commissioned to create a new atmosphere immediately felt as you enter the open space on the new ground floor. Rich colors and fabrics deliberately faded or given a patina were chosen to combine a 20TH century vintage look with the neo industrial atmosphere of a loft Here you will discover a new Parisian elegance that mixes modernity and creativity, always taking its inspiration from the main decorative trends of the past decades.
Your right bank ‘Pied a Terre’ is only at few minutes walk from great cultural spaces,  business centers, and famous department stores. The THERESE is both elegant and up to date: it offers you the opportunity to rediscover a hotel whose reputation is already well established thanks to the constant quality of its service and comfort.
The THERESE remains an outstanding address for the discerning traveler who will appreciate the uncluttered comfort of its 40 rooms (including one equipped with handicapped accessible facilities) and the spacious lounge which provides the perfect backdrop for business and private gatherings.

A perfect location in Paris

In the heart of Paris’s elegant Right Bank:

• The Louvre
• The Palais Royal
• The rue St Honoré
• The Opéra
are close by

The gardens of Palais Royal are one of the best kept secrets of parisian life.
The comédie Française Theater, The Place des Victoires, The Decorative arts Museum, The arcades of rue de Rivoli and The Tuileries gardens are symbolic of the Parisian spirit and located nearby, as well as The famous department store Le Printemps and Galeries Lafayette.

The hotel history

Rue Thérèse is part of French history: it takes its name from Marie Thérèse of Spain who became the wife of King Louis XIV. Before that time it was called “Random street” due to the presence of numerous gambling places in the area.
17th and 18th century mansions with their beautiful free stone frontages reflect the architectural treasures of the area (Palais Royal and Place des Victoires are two examples). The arcades of the Comédie Française and the rue de Rivoli along the elegant jardin des Tuileries are a delight for the eye.
Today this part of Paris remains at the heart of an eclectic vitality: traditional fabric manufacturers mingle with trendy galleries and fashion shops. At lunchtime banking executives and lawyers sit at one of the numerous “bistrots” next to artisans and visitors from all over the world.

Hotel Récamier, our partner Hotel

Hotel Recamier was a sleepy little hotel nicely hidden behind the trees on Place Saint Sulpice (Saint Germain des Prés). It has reopened its doors after a substantial renovation. What you should get when you walk in is a feeling of quiet luxury. The hotel should meet the expectations of travellers in search of confidential addresses such as those exchanged between well travelled and demanding friends. The location is unique in Paris, and the 24 rooms have been superbly revamped.
